RecStreams for macOS
====================

Installation
------------
1. Drag "RecStreams.app" to the Applications folder (or leave it wherever you prefer).
2. Launch it.

First launch
------------
EASIEST: double-click "Remove-Quarantine.command" (same folder as this
file / next to RecStreams.app). It removes the downloaded-from-the-internet
flag and offers to launch the app. See READ-IF-YOU-CANT-RUN.txt for full
instructions and the manual Terminal command.

Manual alternative — right-click the app and choose "Open", then confirm
"Open" in the dialog. Do this once; after that the app opens normally.

Where is my data?
-----------------
User data (settings.txt, streams.json, key, videos/, temp environment) is
stored in:
    ~/Library/Application Support/RecStreams/

On the first run after upgrading from an older layout, your streams list and
settings are migrated automatically from the old folder next to the .app.
Existing recordings are left in place (the videos folder setting keeps
pointing at them); you can change the videos folder in Settings at any time.

Notes
-----
- This build keeps all bundled components (ffmpeg, OpenSSL)
  inside the app bundle: RecStreams.app/Contents/Resources/Dependencies/
- macOS 10.13 (High Sierra) or newer is required.
- If the app refuses to start because it was downloaded from the internet,
  remove the quarantine attribute first:
      xattr -dr com.apple.quarantine /Applications/RecStreams.app
(or use the right-click -> Open flow above — same result)
